Posting Rules
- You can post almost any forms of expressed creativity.
- The work must be your own. Do not post the work of others, no exceptions.
- Fan fiction is allowed. Please mention so on subject line.
- You need to use the correct headers (scroll down for more information.)
- You must warn members of any and all Adult Content in your work by placing the following BEFORE your header and title: [A]
Headers
- Your header needs to be placed BEFORE, not after, the title of your work.
- Place [A] right after the header if your work consists adult content inappropriate for the underaged.
- Please use only one category. If you can't decide, make your best guess.
[POETRY]
- For any poems, long and short.
- Don't rattle on; use lines and stanzas.
- One poem per thread. Don't make threads like "So-and-so's collection of poems" unless the poems are related to one another and must be read together.
[S.STORY]
- Short stories only.
- The story should start and end in one single post; follow-up stories, if you decide to write it, must have its own thread. But for stories with "chapters," see [NOVEL].
- One story per thread, no exceptions. No "So-and-so's collection of short stories."
[NOVEL]
- Parts of the story can be posted in the same thread as chapters.
- Place the STORY part of your work in bold. (People reviewing on your work will write in regular font, so if anyone jumps in on a story later, they can just read the bold part and know what part of the thread is the story and what part is not.
- Please REPLY to your thread to post new chapters instead of EDITING the first post.
- After you finish your novel, you can make a follow-up story to it if you want, but it should be a new thread.
- ONE thread for ONE story; do not make extra chapter-threads.
- Please understand that the novel must be of comparable length. Three chapters of 200 words each probably isn't enough.
[MUSIC]
- Lyrics
- Recorded music (provide links)
- One piece of music per thread.
[SKETCH]
- Anything hand-drawn yet not fully completed
- You CAN have more than one piece of drawing per thread; you CAN have "So-and-so's collection of doodles" but it's not required.
[FASHION]
- Fully-completed fashion designs
- NO Polyvore sets!
- You CAN have more than one design per thread, but not required.
[DESIGN]
- This is for GRAPHIC DESIGNS, anything that was created on the computer.
- Polyvore sets, obviously, do not fall into this category.
- You CAN have more than one piece of design per thread; you CAN have "So-and-so's collection of computer graphic designs" but it's not required.
- Avatars, icons, banners, websites are all welcome, along with art in print (posters, etc.)
[PHOTO]
- Board for artistic photography, not webcam shots or MySpace pictures! If it's a photo of another work you did, it may belong in [ART].
- You CAN have more than one photo per thread; you CAN have "So-and-so's collection of photography" but it's not required.
[ART]
- Any other visual art that does not fall into other categories, such as a fully-painted drawings or photos of engraving, ceramics, sculpting work, collages, scrapbook work, etc.
- The art form cannot have been created digitally. (Collage on Polyvore, for example, is not accepted. Online scrapbook isn't accepted, either. Must be artistically done.)
- You CAN have more than one piece of art per thread; you CAN have "So-and-so's collection of art" but it's not required.
[MISC]
- Anything that doesn't fit into any other category above.
- The work must be of some creativity. Tasteful memoirs, etc.
- Even the most creative, artistic Polyvore set would not be allowed. Polyvore sets go in Polyvore Chat, no ands, ifs, or buts.

Viewing and Reviewing
- For [NOVEL], please keep your review in regular font- do NOT use bold.
- Please keep your reviews from getting personally offensive. Constructive critism is fine, upfront flaming is not.
- Young members, please keep away from threads marked with adult warning. We'll be treating these as equal to the posts on CATS; we're not responsible for your loss of eyesight or whatnot.
- Please take into account the effort people put into to complete their creative work!
Disclaimer and Other Notes
- Any of the submitted work is subject to deletion; keep a copy of your work on your computer just in case.
- Your work is YOURS. If it offends others in any means, or if someone decides to steal it, it is not the forum's responsibility, just like how the forum would have no say in anything if you ever decide to publish your work. It's just a place for you to share your work and get feedback.
- All members are free to critique your work. While those who get personal will be warned, be open to criticisms as well as praise.
- You can check "Notify me when a reply is posted" option to get notified whenever someone replies to your post.
- Foul language, sexual references, etc. (adult content in general) are NOT ALLOWED except DIRECTLY in the creative work itself. This means no cussing in the reviews. And of course, if your work contains adult content do not forget to put a warning ([A]). Distasteful pornography in any form (written, visual, three-dimensional) is prohibited and may result in immediate ban from the forum.
- Violating posting/reviewing rules will result in temporary bans.
